Wrinkles on your clothes? Flesh on your body?

Oh, the horror. Pre- and post-Photoshopped Ann Taylor ad.
The folks at Nike seem to be evolving, though.

“People have really odd opinions. They tell me I’m skinny, as if that’s supposed to make me happy.” ~ Angelina Jolie
Edited to add: As Sra points out in the comments, the Nike ad is fake, though the text is a rip-off from an old Nike ad.

I love that Nike advert!
cheers,
Rosa
Me too- that Nike ad rocks- too bad they still use sweatshops to make their shoes…?
I too love that Nike Add. I think they should have more add like this.
Nike – Nice ad, I thought, and wanted to spread the word – but wondered about “embassador” and see what i found:

fake, but good.
Speaking of sweatshops Ann Taylor is no better than Nike. So….maybe we all need to learn how to sew clothes the same way so many are learning how to cook?
So, Nike at some point actually did put out text like that??? there may be hope for us yet!
And, today’s headlines just put Gap, Next and another one on the mat for its sweatshops in India.
The Ann Taylor post-photoshop ad is still way much better than that Ralph Lauren one, couple of months ago. Seriously – that was way too absurd.

and in the end – they fire that model for being too fat!
I can totally relate to Angelina’s comment. People somehow think it’s perfectly acceptable to say to me “you are skinny!”. They wouldn’t dare say to a big woman “you are fat!” would they?! I am what I am and I don’t try to gain weight nor lose it, I just accept it and focus on being healthy. But it sure does annoy me that people get away with such personal comments!
