that’s brilliant! the first video..
Loved the videos. WU was where i lived uptil a year back. I had attended this play fest once in WU & it was awesome.
Forget the music (it was excellent, actually) – I couldn’t sit cross legged for 7 whole minutes to save my life at this point. Too much knee abuse over the years.
Interesting to note (note, get it?) how a simple song can move from genre to genre at the hands (vocal cords?) of an artist. Thanks very much for sharing – great start to a day!
I am a fan of sree ragam, kapi and anandabhairavi! If I had not seen the video, I would not have even thought that it was sung by these westerners.
Couldnt have made the raga sound any more melodious. I am simply astounded – I can imagine the level of discipline and practice that would have gone into perfecting the keertana!
