Irises have always been a nostalgic favorite of mine. Some blue ones were my Mother’s treasures, and those in combination with yellow sunflowers speak to me in a way few other arrangements ever will.

My irises here are currently shamefully neglected, they need raising up for optimal blooms and these gorgeous shots of yours are hopefully just the incentive needed to get me out on my knees to rework the beds.
