Beautiful post! Plagiarism should end! Stealing one person’s hard work isn’t good!
Eeeek! Your camera munches bugs?!
I don’t mind if anybody imitates ie cook and photograph similar to one we admire but cutting and postng without linking or without saying thanks must stop. My two cents! ;D
Daddy long legs in both photos look goooood!
well, in this case at least, the modern is definitely not as artistic-looking as the ‘ancient’!
Oh! I saw the title in the reader and wondered what now?.
Well captured and presented. Inspiration is good acknowledgement is a must!
Say no to Plagiarism.
Its distressing to see bloggers become easy source for plagiarists.I’m worried I could be the next victim. It’s only fair to get inspired but not steal.
Hey I love that flexible camera fastening accessory.
Love the first pic with spider a lot lot lot.
Plagiarism is wrong and hope plagiarizer’s heart wouldn’t let them steal anymore(in future), without consideration of a blogger’s effort combined with blogger’s willingness to make her/his content available to everybody.
No to Plagarism! One does not deserve to display if its not his/her own.
Thats one Clean Picture, but why does the spider have only 6 legs? did it get hurt? Looks kinda uneven…
these types (harvestmen) discard their legs sometimes when a predator approaches.

Plagiarism DOWN DOWN!!
So long i was not able to view ur pictures in this site, dint knew the reason too!!
But hurray, now I could see the spider, camera with tripod in the tree!!
That second picture creeped me out, for a second there!
Why steal other’s thoughts when everybody has one (or a gazillion) of their own??
Plagiarism of any sort, blogger or otherwise, is pathetic. Ask, give credit, ask…or then, get a life of your own!
Hee. I thought for sure this post was going to blast some plagiarist of jugalbandi to kingdom come!
Hi, The insect is an Opilione also known as Harvestman. It belongs to the Arachnid family, and does not belong to the Spiders Order. It is nice to see this lovely Harvestman on a food blog!

How do you come up with this stuff?
Maybe the ancients should stand up for their rights too!
That’s such a great invention!
cheers,
Rosa
Boo to thieves. Why would anybody want credit for something they are not capable of … and others are?
That tripod is awesome!
Btw .. am sometimes not able to access your page. Hate to miss out on all the great stuff.
Your camera cord’s handsome.
Woof – what a lens you have. That must weigh quite a bit.
Interesting juxtaposition this AM. First read Shephard Fairey’s response to AP claims he “stole” their photograph for his now iconic Barack Obama image. Then this post. My two cents:The internet is meant to be collaborative, flexible, interactive. As long as folks link and give credit for sources and acknowledge when they display the work of others I think that is fair use. In terms of work being “inspired by”…everything we do is generally built on the work of predecessors.
Have a lovely weekend you inspirational duo you!
Whaaaaaaaaat ? No bi***ing!!!! Miss those. This looks too scientific
Lovely… Plagiarism should end!
We can shout, scream, or tell politely about Plagiarism, but there is no absolute way to stop it! People are still doing shamelessly and without non-stop! Is that gorillapod? Definetly i would not hang in the branch my camera! Terrific!
Who copied ur stuff?
Yow, lookit that spider, brrrrrr!
And did u buy a Nikon? I’d never have the guts to put it on a tripod on a branch! Looks fab though!
that’s our friend’s nikon, taken with our canon. people steal our pics all the time. it’s an on-going project.
Nice pic, I was gonna ask when did you shift to the nikon camp but you have answered that. How did you find out about the theft, are there some smart programs which does the tracking for you ? I need to catch some bug pics this year havent gotten any so far..
We have found some lazy bums lift our articles word for word, thro random google searches.
Thanks guys. Very interesting read about the insect. I always learn something new here.
mind bogglingly beautiful photos – such an original pic that it is ironic you have titled it plagiarism
Very cool. Brilliant
Awesome. like Asha said I really don’t mind imitating as long as they don;t just cut/copy/paste and pose it as they did everything.
Plagiarism should end. A lot of effort, love and dedication goes into what we blog with all our heart and passion. I wish there should be a strict law or punishment against anyone who simply copies and lifts pictures and recipes from food bloggers.
Brilliant photographs..The tripod looks cool..
Sad to know that your pics are stolen..Wish plagiarism comes to an end someday!
There is a new image search engine called Tin Eye, see http://tineye.com/ I’m hoping it’s ability to find pilfered images on the web will cut down on unauthorized use.
Bee, is that a nikon D60 or D80? Even the tiniest things look cute through your camera!!
that’s a nikon D40 that belongs to a friend. we use canon.
