CLICK: January 2009. (Red)

CLICK is a monthly food photography event. It is a theme-based contest. You do not need a blog to participate. Each month, entries will be invited based on a culinary ingredient or concept. More about it HERE.

RED [red] n.
any of various colours resembling the colour of blood; the primary colour at one extreme end of the visible spectrum, an effect of light with a wavelength between 610 and 780 nm.
CLICK Red in the culinary context. Highlight it in any setting, and send it to us before January 30, 2009.
Whatever you portray must be EDIBLE or have a CLEAR CULINARY ASSOCIATION.
Your red Mustang does not qualify.
DEADLINE: the 30th of January, midnight, Eastern Standard Time.

Hi, My first time here. I liked the idea of click. I would love to participate in it.
Red is my most favoritest color ever. But I was very disappointed to read that a red Mustang won’t do. Not that I have one. I do have red lipstick though.

I’ve just been putting the TravBuddies map up on my facebook page and realized I’ve never been anywhere in the Caribbean. Maybe this cookbook prize will inspire me!! Are any of the recipes vegetarian or adaptable for vegetar-ians? Glad to see Click back.
Oh! And I love the roasted red peppers photo. Bell peppers are a little like onions and garlic – improve whatever they touch.
