Briana Brownlow (1976-2008)
Briana died in her sleep holding her beloved Marc’s hand last night at 3.20 a.m. Rest in peace, little sister. We will love you and cherish you forever.
When you illuminate your home today for Diwali please light a little candle for her if you can.

On the other side of the world I have awoken to this sad news. Strangely, last night I could not sleep, and around 2am got up and typed an email to another blogger also experiencing cancer. In the email I talked about Bri.I’m sure Bri would have made the most of her short life but it is never enough. I know Bri will never have given up the fight. We don’t. To Bri’s family, and especially Marc, I send loving thoughts to you. May you cherish your memories and hold Bri in your hearts forever.
Reading this brought tears to my eyes. Rest in Peace Briana. May God bless her and her family during this time and always.

Cancer is so limited…
It cannot cripple love
It cannot shatter hope
It cannot corrode faith
It cannot destroy peace
It cannot kill friendship
It cannot suppress memories
It cannot silence courage
It cannot invade the soul
It cannot steal eternal life
It cannot conquer the spirit.
These thoughts mean so much to people cancer touched I know.
