Orange Glow

August 10, 2008 |

Orange is red brought nearer to humanity by yellow. - Kandinsky

There was just one light source at the back. The idea was to have a slice that was thick enough to rest on the orange, but thin enough to let the light through, and have some of the front of the orange visible. The darn slice kept falling off and started shrivelling up in the heat. Not fun.

Maybe a toothpick would have been of some assistance! Great shot! :)

Thats the reason you should see RR’s show. She gives tips to make the orange stand :D. Cut a small piece at the bottom of the orange to make it stand :)).

and how does she make a slice stand on an orange without appearing cut in a picture?
