CLICK fundraiser: Raffle Winners
July 18, 2008 |
We appealed on May 30 for 12,000 U.S. dollars to meet Briana’s out-of-pocket medical expenses to treat her breast cancer. We set a timeframe of six weeks.
You delivered. And how!!!! We reached our target in 20 days. The donations, good wishes and love kept pouring in.
As of July 15, we had

plus
CHEQUES IN THE MAIL = around $3,250
TOTAL = around $17,000

Besides, the CLICK: Yellow for Bri photo event brought in some fantastic entries.
Your Love-in-Action through donations has been taking effect. Bri’s been using alternative therapies to counteract the effect on chemo on her immune system. The poor air quality in her area because of wildfires have kept her indoors most of the time, but she’s looking forward to a change in the weather and increased mobility soon.

She keeps herself busy with a variety of craft projects (like knitting and crocheting), and hopes to muster enough energy to get back to her cooking and blogging. (A recent update on Bri HERE)
The creative array of prizes donated by Bri’s friends and well wishers (many of whom hadn’t heard of her until recently) invited a lot of bids. Most of the prizes can be viewed at THIS IMAGE GALLERY.
The CLICK team, the Brownlow-Grey-Brush family and Bri’s friends are deeply grateful to everyone who made this possible.

THE WINNERS (names in red), picked by randomizer.org.
If you placed a bid on a prize and it shows up here as ‘NO BIDS’, it’s because your geographical area is not covered under the shipping constraints listed for that prize. We attempted to contact all those who had incorrect bids by e-mail. If you didn’t see it, it probably landed in your spam folder.
