CLICK: August 2008. (Citrus)

CLICK is a monthly food photography event. It is a theme-based contest. You do not need a blog to participate. Each month, entries will be invited based on a culinary ingredient or concept. More about it HERE.

Oranges, Lemons, Kumquats, Limes, Grapefruit, Pummelos … or dishes in which they are the main flavouring. Make it citrusy.

CLICK Citrus, cooked or uncooked. Highlight it in any setting, and send it to us before August 30, 2008.

The picture should CLEARLY and OBVIOUSLY relate to CITRUS.

Whatever you portray must be EDIBLE. A picture of your car does not qualify, even if it turned out to be a lemon.

DEADLINE: the 30th of August, midnight, Eastern Standard Time.

    I’ve a tree heaving with lemons and the neighbours is heaving with oranges. The kumquat is coming along nicely, too…

    Citrus - I can do that! As soon as I stop laughing - frist because of the quote about Martha Stewart and then the restrictions about cars - I am in awe as usual.

    I hope to participate bee, I have been working on the coffee picture too.. lets see what happens!! As for the orange blosson , there is only one restaurant , 50 miles from where i live that sells it … I will go sometime in the coming weeks and try it..that and rose petal jam.. Im craving for it!

    I’m convinced something’s not quite right with the themes for me!
    For the liquids edition, I sent in coffee and the theme last month was Coffee and Tea. So I sent in Lemon Tea and this edition turns out to be things “lemony”.:(
