Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall

October 16, 2007 |

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall …

All the King’s horses
and all the King’s men
Could not put Humpty together again …

So they hired a replacement.

How I took this picture:
Took an egg (actually, two) from Bee’s picture setting.
Placed a ceramic lid on a black granite tile with a black cloth backdrop.
Closed all the blinds (with a tiny bit of light streaming through) and made the room dark and spooky.
Placed the egg on the lid.
Ordered the egg to stand still.
Clicked with a 70-200mm lens at f/11 and 30-second exposure, ISO 100.

Camera: Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel

Am I just sleepy and having double vision or the second picture has two eggs? Or is that the soul coming out of an egg?

there’s a disturbance in the force. it makes inji come out of hiding. it makes the souls of eggs wander through the universe aimlessly. that’s what it is. - b.
