CLICK: November 2007 (Noodles)
October 27, 2007 |

CLICK is a monthly food photography event. It is a theme-based contest. You do not need a blog to participate. Each month, entries will be invited based on a culinary ingredient or concept. More about it HERE.
Previous editions of CLICK HERE.

This month’s CLICK theme is an ingredient that transcends cuisines and cultures. Every part of the world has an ingredient made of unleavened dough or starch that has been shaped into interesting strips, cylinders or other shapes and boiled and/or fried. Anything sweet or savoury that fits this description qualifies.

The word noodle derives from the German Nudel (noodle) and maybe related to the Latin word nodus (knot).

CLICK noodles, cooked or uncooked, and send it to us before November 20,2007.

RULES for participation HERE. All entries to this particular theme should be linked to THIS post.
Thanks to your feedback, a few rules have been slightly modified since last time. Even if you are familar with the event rules, please read them again.
Categories for judging HERE.

[…] The first picture is my favourite of this lot, shot in my sunny kitchen in the late afternoon. I am much constrained by my very basic Kodak EasyShare CX 6330, but it has served me well…it takes a lot of coaxing on the macro mode to get it near where I would like it to focus . […] Here’s a quick and easy way to make super soft and crisp chaklis. Chakli is our favorite winter savory snack. There are many ways of having chakli: I have it just as it is, my husband likes to dip it with butter mixed with pickle, my dad likes it with curds and the rest of them like it with a hot cup of tea or coffee. I know that chakli recipes have been posted in many of the blogs already but here goes my version. This picture would be my entry for November’s CLICK event. […]
