Cucumbers … and the Summer Bounty
September 24, 2007 | 50 Comments
This summer was a good one for our garden. Here’s a view of the fruits and veggies we grew.

Our plump cucumbers were a real treat sprinked with salt and cayenne.

We also juiced them with limes.

Strawberry Ice Cubes with two varieties of Strawberries

Xacuti and Cauliflower Leaves (Three Ways) with Cauliflower

Methi Malai Buns and Valor Muthia Nu Shaak with Fenugreek (Methi)

Ridiculously Easy Icecream with Raspberries

Radish Overdose with Radishes

The Taste of Red with Watermelon

Matar Paneer, Risi e Bisi and Pea (pod) and Mint Soup with three varieties of Peas

Egg Fried Rice with Purple Spring Onions

Pizza with Crookneck Squash

Dal with Colocasia (Arvi/Taro) Leaves

Brussels Sprouts in Lemon-Mustard Sauce and Haak with Brussels Sprouts Leaves

Potato Bhaji with Yukon Gold Potatoes

Green Tomatoes - two ways

Roasted Green Tomato, Avocado and Poblano Salsa

Chocolate Pudding infused with Lavender

Besanwale Bhindi with Okra
In addition to these, we grew mint, cilantro, pineapple sage, thyme, oregano, rosemary, three types of basil, Thai chillies, and garlic shoots.
Our season’s bounty goes to dear Deepz @ Letz Cook for the Green Blog Project for Summer 2007. The event was InjiPennu‘s idea. Inji, how can we bribe you to come out of hiding?
