Great blog, and a wonderful cooking resource--keep up the nice work!

I love masala chai and I'm always looking at various recipes and methods of making it; and I noticed something about this recipe... although the linked web source you adapted your own recipe from didn't seem to credit it fully, their tea masala recipe is actually taken (exactly) from Neelam Batra's book "The Indian Vegetarian". I use a couple of Batra's great cookbooks quite a lot and I happened to recognized the recipe.

Hi J & B, Talk of being creative! Masala chai with green chilli - Really! I am going to try it out today. Would definitely have to sip on the drink very slowly - wonder what the chilli would do in a cup of tea, in a denim cup with leather belt :). Your recipe has such a good refernce in Akshayapatram blog. Thats where I saw it first.
