Simply stunning — the beautiful bee! I must say — you’ve got far more courage than I, getting close enough to take photos like these!
The colour’s lovely. You only think of dragonflies as having gauzy wings, never bees – how did you shoot this?
50mm 1/1.4 lens with a close-up attachment. about 20-25 cm from the subject.
Did you know that the sting is mechanical and a therefore a dead Bee can also sting? Watch out, Jai!
