    The colour’s lovely. You only think of dragonflies as having gauzy wings, never bees – how did you shoot this?

    50mm 1/1.4 lens with a close-up attachment. about 20-25 cm from the subject.

    SO that’s another avatar of our dear BEE!! Dangerously close is what I’d say, I’ve been stung by a bee on my thumb tip in a plastic store, you can imagine my plight in a wild place :)

    Beautiful. Bumble Bee too. Did you hear about the disease that is killing off bees, they were talking about honey bees I think, in large number and worrying farmers.
