After all that cribbing about the Y chromosome, it would only be fair to talk about four outstanding blogs we’ve discovered. Three are by men, one has a man in the team.

Pelicano’s Elaichi Et Cetera.
This American guy loves and understands Indian cuisine. He writes like a dream.

Joji Jacob’s The Painted Chef
This Singapore-based Indian’s blog is a visual treat, with watercolours, sketches and cartoons. Great food too.

Dilip Barman’s Dinner With Dilip. Dilip is a computer scientist at the University of North Carolina, an avid gardener and a vegan gourmet.

When three artisan bakers come together, you get one superlative blog.
Susan (Farmgirl Fare), Beth (kitchenMage) and Kevin (Seriously Good) launched a blog last week. Each of them will post a recipe a month. 36 favourite recipes in a year.
It’s called A Year in Bread.

I read over your extremely well-written, “Cooking and Chromosomes”. It was quite thought-provoking.
